Immaculee Bakery – Flatbush, Brooklyn

80 cents for one beef patty. Not just cheap but the tastes are ridiculous. I also had a swordfish patty – not sure which one I liked more. The swordfish oil coagulating with the flakes of dough sent me wild.

This is a long way from the yellow, stamped Jamaican beef patties on every corner of the nether regions of Brooklyn. This is so different. For once, it’s a baked good. A wonderful creation created from a bakery. Buttery and creamy, layers and layers of flaky crust infusing with the curried insides and your fingers. This is crust in the highest sense.

Only this isn’t a bakery. It looks like they mostly sell raw materials for cooking. And what the heck is AK-100? and the heck Phoscao? These drinks are intriguing. Now I have to go back.
