OHNY: Open House New York 2009 – Awesome

There is just too much to choose from. I really have no idea what to choose.

Open House New York Weekend is October 11th and 12th. It is “America’s largest architecture and design event”, creating Open Houses at New York City’s most interesting architectural buildings, landmarks and art spaces.

There are a TON of events like walking tours, discussions and events for kids. Nearly everywhere in the city there is something going on and it is hard to pick just one or two for the weekend. Check out Serious Eat’s map to see the magnanimity of it all.

Which do I want to go on?
Pretty much all of them. I’m more into the history of NYC and many are booked. That narrows it down. I will try to check out the Brooklyn Navy Yard Open Studios bike tour, Chrysler Building, Red Hook walking tour, Slot House, and Trinity Church Cemetery & Mausoleum

See their website to see a list of all of the events. Which look interesting to you?
