The name is Irish, the decorations Irish, and the counties of the sovereign country are listed around bar; this is not what makes it a real Irish experience… it’s the reddened, pale faces around the bar drinking, talking, yelling, singing, frolicking. And in the back room, a well-prepared, hospitable dining experience.

The fish are fresh, never frozen. The steaks are cut in the back. You can tell they care about what they produce. I have no recommendations. I like nearly everything that comes out of the kitchen. You can’t go wrong with shepherds pie or corned beef and cabbage, but is it insulting to think that is all the Irish-Americans can make? I don’t even know if the chef is Irish, so get whatever sounds good, most likely it will be.
